In ancient times, humans and dragons lived peacefully side by side on the Isle of Drago, helping each other protect their shared home from invaders and would-be conquerors. Together, the people and dragons created a beautiful civilization known as the Kingdom of Fire, separate and hidden from the rest of Europe, with all known mentions of the Isle and its inhabitants struck from the histories and never to be spoken of again by outsiders under penalty of absolute destruction.

 

Now in the Year 800 of the Common Era, the Kingdom of Fire finds itself drowning in court intrigues and political machinations that threaten the peace of the land. King Dank VeraddenIII of the great Veradden Dynasty and his ambitious sorceress Queen Marg Philies of the mystical Circle of Flames Clan struggle to hold the kingdom together along with their wisecounselor, the mighty Lord Mok of the Dragon Clan.

 

Amidst the internal threats to peace and order, one man awakens to find himself a stranger in the mirror, with no idea who he is except for the royal army uniform and medals of honor. Despite being told he was a general and hero to people and dragons, Phil Agon decides to travel the kingdom in search of a new meaning for his new life.

 

But he may find he can never escape his past, as the quiet war to douse the Kingdom of Fire rages around him and drafts him as an unwilling soldier.
